President Muhammadu Buhari has described Governor Abdullahi Ganduje as a responsible leader, commending him for delivering good projects in Kano State.
The President said this during an interactive session with Nigerians in Paris.
“I commend the governor for doing so much. He once invited me and I went to Kano. The good projects started by Kwankwaso in Education and healthcare, Ganduje completed them.
“He completed the projects and now the people of Kano are enjoying the benefit. I think that is very responsible of him,” he said.

Some online media have however reported that the President during the interactive session noted that the alleged bribery video has been sent to security agencies for further scrutiny.
President Buhari’s reaction comes on the heels of bribery allegations leveled against Governor Ganduje. This was after a video clip allegedly showing Governor Abdullahi Ganduje receiving a bribe was published by an online newspaper.
The video had generated reactions as Human rights groups including Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) have called on the President to direct the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Mr Abubakar Malami, or appropriate anti-corruption agencies to investigate the claim without delay.
President Buhari is currently in Paris where he, alongside other world leaders are participating at the Paris Peace Forum.
