Davido’s “City Of David” Concert Suffers Major Setback

DMW boss, Davido has revealed that he’ll be announcing a new venue for his end of the year “City of David” concert after his proposed venue was rejected by the authorities.

Davido had planned on making use of the Eko Atlantic City, the newly reclaimed highbrow neighbourhood for his concert, but his request was turned down.

In a series of tweets, Davido guessed that the refusal on his request was politically driven because of his allegiance to Nigeria’s main opposition party, the PDP, which he supported and campaigned vigorously for during the September governorship election in Osun State with his uncle, Senator Ademola Adeleke as flagbearer.
